Sullivan is a 19X22 pastel on natural UA 400 pastel paper. This was a piece done with a secondary color structure of green, purple and orange. The focus was on the composition of the portrait. I wanted to use softer, more feminine colors to frame out this very stoic, masculine animal in an effort to balance. This piece is hanging in the La Grange Art League through August 2020. It won 3rd place in the Jessie Minnich Summertime Award in the July show.
